At St Mark And All Saints C of E Primary and Nursery school we encourage all children to develop their talents through access to a varied and stimulating curriculum which is underpinned by our six values: Positivity, Endeavour, Trust, Consideration, Respect and Responsibility. We offer a wide and varied curriculum with a range of extra-curricular activities which include the Gardening Club, Football, Forest School and Breakfast Club.
We have a fabulous school building with spacious classrooms, large school hall and a dedicated open plan library area. There are separate playgrounds for Nursery, Infant and Junior pupils which include large fixed apparatus such as a stage area and trim trail. In addition to this we have an extensive field which includes an allotment area, large polytunnel and small farm that houses our chickens, two goats called Nancy & Geraldine and Onion the pig! We want every child to have a sense of their own worth, the confidence to express themselves and recognise that they are a valued member of the school community.
This term we are appointing members to our Pupil Parliament who will represent all age groups from within the school. Our aim is to increase pupils’ knowledge and understanding of themselves and others to assist in their development as responsible citizens in an ever changing world. Our school is a single form entry with 93 pupils from Nursery to Year 6. Each class is named after a bird or animal to reflect our respect for the natural world and our status as an Eco school. We welcome visits at any time and look forward to seeing you soon at St Mark And All Saints C of E Primary.
