A dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Geography is sought to lead a highly successful, well established Geography team. Geography is thriving at Dauntsey’s and is an immensely popular option choice at both GCSE (three or four classes in each year) and A level (two classes in U6th and two in L6th). The successful candidate should be able to support pupils across all abilities to achieve ambitious academic targets through collaborating with colleagues and strategising on an individual, class, and year group scale. Essential to the role is the continual nurturing of our students' passion for the subject and to actively maintain the subject's prominence across our school community. The department has a long history of achievement as evidenced by our option numbers, excellent results and by the number of students who pursue Geography-related subjects post A level.
